Salt and Sacrifice finally announces its release date on the occasion of a release of information devoted to the independent scene by Sony. The title takes the opportunity to present new features.
Salt in PVP
Salt and Sacrifice, sequel to the very good Salt and Sanctuary, reveals a little more with this new trailer. To briefly summarize the title, we are in front of a 2D Souls-like that will let you play many different classes (mage, assassin, fighter, paladin…). Among the novelties presented, we will have “Mage Hunt” which consists of multi-part chases through the kingdom of Alterstone ending in a fight against a fearsome boss. Note that this mode will be playable in cooperation as for the rest of the game.
Know that there will also be PVP on the program. The mode remains optional but it can allow you to acquire quite nice improvements including new skills. To align yourself, you will have to join a faction according to the criteria you prefer.
Salt and Sacrifice will be released on May 10 on PC via the Epic Games Store, PS4 and PS5.
