So, Distribuidora Morazán will now accept payments in BTC for its transactions with businesses and merchants.

For the moment, the project is only in the pilot stage. However, it allows some of Distribuidora Morazán’s 40,000 partner merchants to pay for their supplies in bitcoins.

In addition, Distribuidora Morazán also encourages merchants to accept BTC in their respective businesses. According to Distribuidora CEO Morazán, Bitcoin adoption will also enable operational gain.

“Until now, our distribution operations have been primarily run on a cash basis, which presented a series of logistical, timing and operational challenges that slowed down our daily ability to visit more retail locations. Bitcoin solves this problem. »

This first pilot program will allow approximately 1,000 traders to pay their supplier in BTC. If this goes off without a hitch, the program will be generalized to all Distribuidora Morazán merchant customers.
