Samantha Fox: She supposedly wants to step in front of the altar

The sex icon of the 1980s Samantha Fox (53, "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)") apparently wants to step in front of the altar. Almost five years after the tragic death of her long-time partner Myra Stratton (1955-2015), the singer and her friend Linda Olsen (45) are said to have been engaged. The British tabloid "The Sun" reports.

Fox and Olsen have been dating since 2018. For Valentine's Day, the 53-year-old had recently sent her partner some touching words via Instagram: "The only one for me in the world. The one that my heart has opened for true love. Forever," Fox wrote to some sweet snapshots of the two .

"Sam and Linda are very happy with each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together. They are deeply in love and want to make it official," quotes "The Sun" an acquaintance of the couple.

Fox became known in the 80s with songs like "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now". She started her career in "The Sun" as a nude model of the famous page three. Myra Stratton, who was also her manager, was in Fox's relationship from 2003 until her death on August 2, 2015. Stratton succumbed to cancer.
