Rapper Samra has taken a stand on abuse allegations against him. “I’m not a rapist,” he now explains.

The influencer Nika Irani raises serious allegations of abuse against the German rapper Samra (26). This explains now in a statement on Instagram: “I have not raped anyone, neither the person who accused me of this nor other people!”

Likewise on Instagram explained Irani previously that the rapper allegedly threw her on a bed and choked her. She said “no more than 20 times, then he tore open my underpants and tore them up and I just let it go.”

The rapper announced that he wanted to turn on the authorities: “Since the person who accused me refuses to report the matter, I feel compelled to have the matter clarified by the public prosecutor.” In this way, Samra wants “not only to contradict the allegations, but also to bring about an independent investigation by the public prosecutor and police”. He did not want to comment on the allegations.

Label is discontinuing cooperation for the time being

Samra’s label Universal Music has meanwhile announced that it will suspend work with the rapper for the time being. “Serious allegations were made against one of our artists on social media. Specifically, it is about the allegation of sexual violence. it says in an Instagram story.

And further: “Due to the seriousness of the allegations, we have decided to stop working with the artist in question until the allegations have been clarified.” This step serves the “protection of all those involved” and is “not a prejudice”. They take the allegations “very seriously” and reserve the right to “draw far-reaching conclusions depending on further findings”.
