Samse: finalizes its merger with the trading branch of Herige

(Boursier.com) — The Group Samse finalized the acquisition of VM Matériaux, LNTP and Cominex, after initially entering into exclusive negotiations with the Group Herigein December 2023, and signed a memorandum of understanding on February 7, 2024.

This merger will promote new synergies between brands. It marks an important step in the group’s growth strategy, which thus strengthens its position as number 2 in the French construction materials distribution market.

This strategic operation obtained the agreement of the Competition Authority as well as all the usual regulatory authorizations from staff representative bodies.
