With its Galaxy S25, Samsung should take an important step thanks to the Exynos 2500. Indeed, the Korean giant has developed an SoC on the way to becoming more efficient than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
While the Galaxy S24 series still relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for its Ultra model, the Exynos 2500, Samsung’s next in-house chip, could surpass the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, the launch of which is expected for the same period. At least that is what analysts suggest, counting on the technological advantage that 3 nm GAA engraving will confer.
For 2026, the Korean company would consider replacing the AMD graphics processor in Exynos chips with an in-house GPU. That being said, Samsung could well shake up the cards in the high-end mobile processor market next year with the arrival of its Exynos 2500.

The Exynos 2500 would be more efficient than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4
After some setbacks encountered with the Galaxy S22 series and its Exynos 2200, Samsung finally seems to have regained the trust of users.
