The Galaxy A05 was launched in Malaysia some time ago alongside the Galaxy A05s model. As a result, we found out some of the specifications for both versions, but there was no indication of a launch in other countries. Samsung is now apparently releasing the budget smartphone in other countries. If Abhishek Yadav’s much-publicized leak on X proves correct, it will be India’s turn.
In the post from October 7th. In 2023, Yadav thinks that the Galaxy A05 will appear “next week”. This could mean the week from October 9th to October 15th. Sammobile assumes the following week.
When it is released, it will run on One UI 5.1 Core based on Android 13. The “Core” in the name refers to a reduced range of functions compared to the flagship models. The “longevity” is also not at the same level as the more expensive models.
The A series usually gets two major Android updates from Samsung. In exceptional cases, the manufacturer also grants three updates. The Galaxy A05 and the Galaxy A05s are no exception. In addition to these updates, there are four years of security updates.
