Samsung Galaxy A13 & Galaxy A33 5G: First photos and specifications

Images and specifications have been leaked for the Samsung Galaxy A13 4G and the Samsung Galaxy A33. At least the release of the A13 should be right around the corner. We’ll show you what you can expect from the two entry-level models.

  • The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and the Samsung Galaxy A13 4G have been leaked.
  • The A13 will soon be available in Europe for around €200.
  • The A13 with LTE differs significantly from the US model Galaxy A13 5G.

Our colleagues from WinFuture have found information about the upcoming entry-level models of the Galaxy A class. The Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A33 reveal product renders, along with some specs! The predecessors, the Galaxy A12 and the Galaxy A32, were already very popular. So it can be assumed that the upcoming affordable smartphones from Samsung will also be eagerly awaited.

The Samsung Galaxy A33 is the more powerful device and will probably rank right below the Samsung Galaxy A53. It comes with 5G support and a fast OLED display with at least 90 Hz. The panel offers a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels with a 6.4-inch screen diagonal (~411 PPI).

As for the SoC, the leak mentions the Exynos 1200 alongside 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The SoC clocks at up to 2.4 GHz, which is 0.4 GHz higher than MediaTek’s MT6853 Dimensity 720 5G in the A32 5G. The battery is expected to have a capacity of 5,000 mAh. Unfortunately, there is no information about the cameras yet.

The Galaxy A13 will be an LTE device. According to the rumors, it will come with a PLS LCD panel with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and a 6.6-inch display diagonal (~400 PPI). Here, too, a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz should be achieved. The Samsung Exynos 850 with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage is expected as the SoC. You will be able to expand the memory in the A13 using a microSD card.

As for the cameras, there’s a 48MP primary, which is presumably a wide-angle lens, and a 5MP ultra-wide camera. In addition, the device will have two 2 MP cameras for depth effects and macro shots on board.

Samsung is not willing to compromise on the battery with the A13: According to previous leaks, Samsung will equip the A13 with a 5,000 mAh battery. This will also be equipped with a fast charging function of up to 15 watts.

The Galaxy A13 should be available in Europe “very soon” for around 200 euros. The model should probably be unveiled in the next few weeks. As soon as the two entry-level models are at the start, you will find out here at NextPit.

What do you think? Are you eagerly awaiting the new budget phones from the South Koreans? Or is the A53 more to your liking?
