Samsung is reportedly working on the sequel to its Galaxy A13, the Galaxy A14. In the program, no major changes, but small improvements would be made and we can assume that the price remains correct.

Last April, Samsung formalized the Galaxy A13, a smartphone at 200 euros placing itself in the entry level of the market. A Samsung smartphone with a balanced technical sheet and an interesting price-performance ratio. The media GalaxyClub reveals some information about the Galaxy A14, including the photo part and the battery of the phone, although many details are not known yet.

A main sensor of 50 Mpx as on the Galaxy A13

What does not change is the main sensor of the Galaxy A14, which would be 50 Mpx as on the previous version, although it is not necessarily the same reference. What could change, however, is that one of the four sensors could disappear. Gizmochina recalls that at the beginning of the month, OnLeaks revealed the design of the Galaxy A14. On the back, there are only three sensors. We can then assume that the depth sensor or the sensor dedicated to the macro disappears in this new version.

On the other side, it is the front camera which should evolve since its definition would increase to 13 Mpx, against 5 or 8 Mpx for the Galaxy A13, (depending on the 4G or 5G version).

A 5,000 mAh battery for the Galaxy A14

On the power side either, we would not observe any great novelty, with a battery bearing the model number EB-BA146ABY, which has a capacity of 5,000 mAh. GalaxyClub recalls that the screen of the Galaxy A14 would be a 6.8-inch Full HD + LCD panel which would accommodate the front camera in a notch.

Gizmochina continues by recalling that the Galaxy A14 should be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, a Mali G52 GPU coupled with 4 GB of RAM. There could also be a version with 6 GB of RAM. Finally, the smartphone could be released under Android 13 with the One UI 5 interface.

The media specifies to assume that the presentation of this new model would take place before the end of the year, for a marketing in 2023. On the price side, there would not be a big increase compared to the Galaxy A13, but we could find it for sale around 230 euros. Remember that the current rate of the euro could actually make the phone more expensive.
