Samsung Galaxy A24: the next model in the A series delivers its technical sheet

At a time when the Galaxy A54 5G, A34 5G and A14 (4G and 5G) are making their debut in France as well as in Europe, Samsung’s mid-range smartphone series may not be quite full. It would seem that the successor to the Galaxy A23 is indeed in the starting blocks, at least if we are to believe the leaked elements about it.

The Galaxy A24, since that would be its small name, would be confined for the time being to 4G support. The leaks from the Israeli site Gadgety indeed evoke a smartphone equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, which does not include a 5G modem. The latter would be associated with 4 GB of RAM and, on the storage side, with 128 GB of internal space, expandable via a microSD card, a possibility offered to the entire A 2023 range. The smartphone, for the rest, would be equipped with a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen, would display Full HD + at 90 Hz and would benefit from a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, like the Galaxy A34 5G and A54 5G. It would also carry a triple dorsal photo block, including a 50 megapixel main sensor associated with wide-angle optics (f / 1.8), another 5 megapixel (ultra wide-angle optics) and a macro camera of 2 Mpx, that is, equipment similar to the Galaxy A14. Not surprisingly, everything would be included in a smartphone with a design harmonized with that of the S23 series, and powered by a 5000 mAh battery.

It should be remembered that last year, Samsung formalized a Galaxy A23 4G, a model that was not marketed in France, then its 5G version. It’s a safe bet that the Galaxy A24 called to succeed it will follow the same trajectory.
