Samsung wants to continue its successful Galaxy A series with the Galaxy A54, the A14, the A24 and the A34. Below you can find out what is known about the price, release and specs.
With the Galaxy A series, Samsung has a number of very successful mid-range smartphones in its range. In 2023, these will probably be reissued again – at least some models. According to rumours, the Samsung Galaxy A73 will NOT have a successor. Thus, the A-Series 2023 is expected to consist of the following models:
- Samsung Galaxy A14
- Samsung Galaxy A24
- Samsung Galaxy A34
- Samsung Galaxy A54
The A24 can also be seen as a shaky candidate. There are rumors that Samsung will discontinue the A2x series in 2024, further shrinking the A class. Maybe Samsung prefers this step.
When will the new Galaxy A models appear in 2023?
Samsung has already introduced the Galaxy A14 5G. It’s slated to go on sale on January 12 – at least in North America. There are still no statements about a start in Europe. A well-known leaker is now bringing up March 15 as the launch date for the new A models in this country.
How much will the new Galaxy A models cost?
This remains to be seen. At least with the Galaxy A14 5G, however, there are indications that Samsung is pursuing an aggressive pricing policy. The introductory price in North America is $199.99, $50 less than its predecessor. However, we do not assume that Samsung will apply this pricing policy to all models. Two sources now indicate a significant price increase for the A34 and A54 models.
