Samsung plans to update many of its smartphones in the coming months. In addition to the launch of the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra, the Galaxy A range is preparing to move up a gear. After information on the Galaxy A15, Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A35, it’s the Galaxy A55’s turn to get people talking. OnLeaks has in fact shared images of Samsung’s mid-range via MySmartPrice, which will certainly be the best equipped in 2024. Details on the technical sheet have also been shared.

The Galaxy A55 no longer has any secrets

Through a 360° video and several 3D renderings, we see that Galaxy A55 presents a notable change in its chassis. Indeed, the slightly rounded edges of the Galaxy A54 are completely flat, following the trend introduced by the iPhone 12 and later generations of Apple smartphones.

A difference is still present on the right edge: there is a protrusion at the power and volume buttons. This choice allows for better handling thanks to a physical identifier facilitating access to this area.

At the front and back, the Galaxy A55 does not offer any changes compared to the Galaxy A54. We indeed find a panel with a punch centered at the top of the screen as well as a shell with three photo sensors separated from each other and a flash.

In terms of dimensions, we move to a slightly longer and wider template (161.1 x 77.3 x 8.2 mm for the A55, compared to 158.3 x 76.7 x 8.2 mm for the A54) .
