With the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung presents its new flagship models. That's all the information about it.
Samsung has presented the new Galaxy S21 series. As with the Galaxy S20, the new flagship comes in three different versions with the names Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The latter mainly wants to score with an advanced quad camera system.
According to Samsung, the new smartphones will go on sale in Germany on January 29, 2021. Depending on the storage variant, the S21 will cost between 849 euros and 1,429 euros. The cheapest device is the Galaxy S21 with 128 gigabytes of memory (850 euros), with 256 gigabytes it costs 900 euros. The Galaxy S21 + costs 1,050 euros or 1,100 euros with the same memory configuration. For the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the version with 128 gigabytes of storage costs 1,249 euros, for 256 gigabytes 1,299 euros and for 512 gigabytes it is 1,429 euros. All three variants come with 5G support.
If you can't wait for it to be released, you can pre-order the smartphone and secure a special bonus. If you buy the Galaxy S21 or S21 + in the Samsung online shop from January 14th to 28th, you will also receive a pair of Galaxy Buds Live and the Galaxy SmartTag. If you choose the Galaxy S21 Ultra, you will get the Galaxy Buds Pro and the Galaxy SmartTag as a bonus.
Fast charging only possible with extra accessories
All three variants come with different display and battery sizes. The S21 has a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a 4,000 mAh battery. The S21 + is 6.7 inches with the same resolution and a 4,800 mAh battery. The S 21 Ultra has a 6.8-inch display with 3,200 x 1,440 pixels and a 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphones can be charged quickly with 25 watts. After only 30 minutes at the socket, the battery should be back to 50 percent. Small catch: the quick charger has to be purchased separately and costs 35 euros.
The Galaxy S21 and S21 + have a triple camera with 12 megapixels. An advanced quad main camera with 108 megapixels is used in the S 21 Ultra.
