The Galaxy S22 will be presented by Samsung at an Unpacked event in February. Several leakers have now revealed the date for this, but there is still disagreement about one detail.

Samsung’s next smartphone flagship is in the starting blocks. Fans are already eagerly awaiting an Unpacked event in February, where the Samsung Galaxy S22 will be presented. Most recently, February 9 emerged as the date for this and this suspicion is now being confirmed.
Two reliable insiders shared information and official material on Twitter. According to XDA-Developers, Evan Blass tweeted a promotional image on his @evleaks channel announcing February 9th at 3pm as the launch date. Unfortunately, there is no time zone or additional information on the picture.

Official Google Calendar invite?
Blogger TechInsider, on the other hand, has dug a little deeper. This discovered prepared links to Google Calendar invites in the page code of the Unpacked event page. One of the codes is already active and if you click the link and are logged into your Gmail account it will take you to the appointment for February 9th at 10 AM Eastern Standard.
This corresponds to 4 p.m. in Germany and is therefore very close to the time that Evan Blass described in his tweet. This seems to have at least cleared up the uncertainty about the date of the unpacked event, now it remains to be seen at what time the performance will start.
We’re guessing at 4 p.m. for a number of reasons. On the one hand, previous Unpacked events always began at this time and, on the other hand, an Instagram advertisement from Samsung also stated the date and time. The invitation shared by Blass may be in UK time, which would explain the hour difference.
Pre-order and release leaked?
TechInsider also revealed some dates not to be overlooked in an earlier tweet. It is the release schedule. Accordingly, the Galaxy S22 will be reservable from February 14th to 21st and available for pre-order from February 21st to 24th. It will officially go on sale on February 25th.
It remains to be seen whether this timetable will come true. Fans should now make a note of these dates, because the separate reservation and preparation periods in particular give reason to hope for attractive launch campaigns.
