Last August, we learned that Samsung could now market a Galaxy S FE every year. Faced with a smartphone market in great difficulty, and this for many months now, the Korean manufacturer is considering a new way to fight against this loss of speed. In any case, if these rumors have, for the moment at least, not been confirmed by Samsung, the manufacturer has already announced that the Galaxy S23 will be entitled to its FE variant. And this one already has almost no more secrets for us…
The Galaxy S23 FE will be equipped with a 6.4-inch dynamic AMOLED display with a refresh rate ranging from 60 to 120 Hz. The maximum brightness is said to be 1,450 nits. In Europe, the Exynos 2200 chip will power Samsung’s next smartphone, while in the United States and Canada, the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It will also be equipped with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and will have 128 GB (or 256 GB) of internal storage. Finally, remember that it will be covered with Gorilla Glass protection on the front and back, and that fast charging will be 25 watts (4,500 mAh battery).
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: price and release date
Concerning the photo part, the S23 FE will have a three-camera configuration. We will therefore find a 50-megapixel main sensor, with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, including a 3x zoom and an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, we will find the presence of a 10 megapixel front camera. This information, which is shared by the site MySmartPrice, therefore coincide with previous leaks around the Galaxy S23 FE. Except that until now, we still didn’t know its price and launch date.
Still according to information reported by MySmartPrice, everything suggests that Samsung’s next smartphone will be marketed on October 4, the same day as Google’s next keynote. Prices for the Galaxy S23 FE are said to start from $599 in the US.

However, we would have liked Samsung not to simply copy and paste the back camera of the S22 + to design that of the S23 +. Not because the images are bad, far from it, since the result is good.
For its flagship smartphone, it’s a bit flag-cheap (yes, we’re making puns and we assume it) especially when we see the equipment of the S23 Ultra. Especially since the price has been revised upwards: 1219 euros for the 8/256 GB model and 1339 euros for the 8/512 GB version.
These prices are all the more irritating as the manufacturer still ignores the power supply unit, which is now optional.
