Wear OS was born from the collaboration between the 2 giants in order to offer a powerful and complete operating system for connected watches. Until then, Samsung used its in-house system called Tizen, which the Korean is gradually abandoning in favor of Wear OS.
At the Google I/O conference which took place this month, Samsung announced support for Google Assistant over the summer to enable “faster and more natural voice interactions”. It is therefore a little in advance that users will be able to take advantage of the deeper integration of the Assistant.
