The Samsung Galaxy Watch is in its 4th generation and comes in two versions: the “Standard” and the “Classic” model. The only difference between the two smart watches is their design and different battery capacities. The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic comes with a physical bezel and a slightly larger stainless steel case (and therefore a slightly larger battery). The Watch 4, on the other hand, has a slimmer aluminum body (and therefore a slightly smaller battery) and a digital bezel.

In the test, the very intuitive operation using the bezel and smoothly running WearOS was particularly impressive. This finally brings practical Google apps to the Galaxy Watch. Compared to other smartwatches, the Watch 4 also stands out with its new bioelectrical impedance analysis sensor. This can be used to determine, among other things, the BMI, the body fat percentage and the skeletal muscle weight.

This is also due to the physical rotating bezel with its intuitive control. The operating system is long-awaited and new, because Samsung is finally back to Wear- OS from Google.
