Ever since Google Assistant became available for Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4, smartwatch owners have been reporting problems with the watch. After installing the voice assistant, the watch will be unpaired from the paired device.
The decoupling does not only affect the Bluetooth connection to the smartphone. The watch is also no longer listed in the partner app Galaxy Wear after installing the Google Assistant. A connection with the linked mobile phone is no longer possible.
For some users, according to reports on Reddit, only a factory reset of the clock remained. After that, the watch and mobile phone could be used together again as usual. It is not yet known what causes the problems.
