Galaxy Watch 4 owners are still waiting for Wear OS 3’s left-handed mode. A third party is now getting ahead of Google and Samsung. This is how you activate it.

Samsung has changed the operating system with the fourth generation of the Galaxy Watch. The old devices still use Tizen, but the new smartwatches now make use of Google’s Wear OS 3. Even if this results in many advantages, you still have to do without some of the functions that were available with Tizen. One of them, for example, is the left-handed mode, which the Galaxy Watch 4 lacks.
With old models, the left-hand mode could be easily activated, which adjusted the orientation of the watch somewhat and made operation easier. Samsung and Google have promised users such a feature for the Watch 4, but so far it has not been added.

A third-party provider, on the other hand, has now forestalled the manufacturers and simply provided the function itself. The “Lefty” app was already available on Wear OS 2 and with the new update it can also be used for Wear OS 3. Although Google is currently working on the left-handed function, you don’t have to wait for the developer anymore. We’ll show you how to install and use Lefty.

- Grants the app access to settings
- Allows the app to appear on the interface
- Now click on ”activate”
