The South Korean firm is preparing for a decisive summer. In August, Samsung will officially present its next smartphones and connected devices. Among the expected products, we can for example mention the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. Along with these folding phones, we will also have the opportunity to admire a new smartwatch soberly named Galaxy Watch 5. A Pro model should also be current.
But before having the opportunity to admire these devices from all angles, rumors feed social networks. And the latest one concerns precisely this famous Samsung Galaxy Watch 5. If we are to believe the information reported by journalist Roland Quandt from WinFuturethe prices applied to new watches when they are launched will be extremely high.
Prices to be taken with tweezers
Let’s start with the basic copy, that is to say the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Bluetooth. The 40 mm version could be sold for 300 euros, and even 350 euros for the 44 mm copy. Remember that when it was released, the Galaxy Watch 4 started at 269 euros for its 40 mm iteration and at 299 euros in 44 mm. This nice increase will be explained, hopefully, by important improvements on the functionalities. The LTE version should be marketed at 350 euros (40 mm) and 400 euros (44 mm).
Unfortunately, the dynamic will be similar for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Its price is estimated at 490 euros for Bluetooth and 540 euros for LTE. This watch should only be offered in 45 mm format. Note that the prices mentioned above may change depending on the taxes applied in the different countries.
