The future folding smartphone from the manufacturer should be presented during the summer.
Like every year, summer rhymes with folding smartphones for Samsung and 2022 should be no exception to the rule.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 seems to be following in the footsteps of its predecessors
The manufacturer should therefore within a few weeks present the successor to its Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, its latest folding smartphone. Unfortunately for the brand, the first photos and videos of the future Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 have just leaked on the web.
At first glance, it is quite difficult to see clear differences between this new model and the previous folding smartphone from Samsung. The manufacturer seems to have chosen continuity with a form-factor identical.
We can however notice on the photos published on Twitter by the TechTalkTV account (and now deleted for copyright infringement) that Samsung has chosen a matte glass on most of the back of the product, except for the area where there is a double camera module and the small notification screen, which inherits it from a shiny glass.
Some aesthetic changes and a revised and corrected hinge
This screen for quickly reading a message or answering a call also seems to have gained a few extra millimeters on this new model.
Samsung teams have also once again worked to improve the hinge, which seems more discreet than on the previous model. The two parts of the phone also look closer once the smartphone is unfolded.
The crease, which was noticeable once the screen was opened, also seems less visible, but this may simply be due to the frame of the photograph. You will have to have the phone in hand to be sure. The bezels might have finally been refined but it’s not really noticeable to the naked eye.
On the technical sheet side, the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 could logically ship a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor but also a larger battery of 3,700 mAh against 3,300 mAh on the Z Flip 3.
Now all that remains is to wait for the official presentation of this next folding smartphone as well as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, which could take place by next August.
