The next foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 reveals a little more in a new leak. Unfortunately, there shouldn’t be too many changes from the previous version.
On July 10, Samsung will hold its Unpacked event in Paris, in order to capitalize on the imminence of the Olympic Games, the opening ceremony of which is scheduled for July 26. An event during which the public will be able to discover not only the Galaxy Ring, but also the new foldable phones Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. And for the most impatient, we’re learning more about the latter today!
A technical sheet that changes little
In less than a month, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be presented to the public. Suffice to say that we can expect the traditional leaks in the meantime. And this is what happened again, with SmartPrix who obtained the complete technical sheet of this little gem. So this is what the smartphone will have under the hood:
- 7.6-inch inner AMOLED screen, 6.3-inch outer screen;
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC;
- 256, 512 GB or 1 TB memory;
- 4400 mAh battery;
- Triple rear camera 50+12+10 Mpx, 10 Mpx selfie module, 4 Mpx under-screen camera;
A rising price?
Suffice to say that not much has changed compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, except that it should be slightly less heavy. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 weighs 239 grams, compared to 253 grams for its future predecessor.
Other options are also expected, such as a fingerprint sensor on the side, while the smartphone should integrate a USB-C port and display Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity options. Price-wise, the 256 GB version should be sold at $1,899 (1,775 euros), the 512 GB version at $2,019 (1,887 euros) and the 1 TB version at $2,259 (2,111 euros).
