Samsung wants to take it easy in 2023. The manufacturer’s CES press conference on January 4 is themed “Bringing Calm to Our Connected World”. It remains to be seen how and with which products Samsung wants to fill the motto with life.

Traditionally, Samsung unveils innovations in the areas of household appliances and smart TVs at CES. So you can probably look forward to the next generation of The Frame design television.

There will also be a new Family Hub refrigerator with an integrated 32-inch display at CES. This is not only used for notes or the display of a calendar, but should also give you access to numerous TV channels via Samsung TV Plus.

The release of the new top smartphone Galaxy S23, about which numerous rumors are already circulating on the internet, is expected to follow in February. We have summarized the expected innovations in the linked article. Among other things, there is speculation about the end of the Exynos chip and support for an emergency call via satellite.

Will a Galaxy Book Fold appear alongside the S23?

At the same time as the new Galaxy S models, Samsung is also rumored to be unveiling new laptops. Details on the Galaxy Book 3 series are still rare. A pure processor upgrade to the next Intel generation would be conceivable here. Samsung could also expand the series with a foldable model. After all, Lenovo and Asus already presented corresponding laptops at the IFA in autumn 2022.

You can also look forward to three new mid-range cell phones from the Galaxy A series in the first quarter of 2023: the A14, A34 and A54 have already been sighted several times by regulatory authorities. Two other model series, on the other hand, are probably on the verge of extinction and will probably not have a successor in 2023.

5G could become the standard in the M and A series

According to rumors, 5G will also become standard in the Galaxy A and M series. In 2023, Samsung fans would no longer have to choose between a 4G and 5G version of the same device.

Also interesting…

That should make the mobile phone portfolio clearer. There are often significantly larger differences between the 4G and 5G models than are apparent at first glance, as this comparison of the Galaxy A13 and A13 5G shows.

Samsung fans can expect new models for the Galaxy Watch series and new foldables in the fall. So far there are no rumors about the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5 or the Galaxy Watch 6.
