Somewhere in the gaming galaxy, Samsung continues its odyssey. The world leader in the field of gaming monitors has just announced the availability of her new baby, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8.

At the beginning of the year, the South Korean giant announced the very first gamer screen to pair 4K with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. A few weeks later, would the promise come true?

“The best created the best”

At Samsung, flowers are not expensive. But it is clear that the manufacturer currently sits in first place on the podium in the gaming monitor sector. A position that the giant intends to preserve in the face of highly aggressive competition.

To do this, Samsung has just dropped a brand new PC screen from its ship. Her name ? G85NB. His function ? Delivering the first gaming experience to simultaneously pair 240Hz and 4K (3840 x 2160).

In terms of aesthetics, the Samsung Galaxy Odyssey Neo G8 sports a futuristic dress. On the back of this monitor with a white back and glossy finish, an orb whose colors vary according to your video game adventures. Indeed, CoreSync lighting automatically detects colors on the screen in order to reproject them around the screen. Ideal to amplify the immersion during your most eventful parts.

Featuring a 32-inch curved HDR screen with 1000R curvature, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 comes with Quantum Matrix technology for an optimal viewing experience. Thanks to its refresh rate of 4K 240 Hz, and a response time of only 1 ms, players will be able to benefit from unparalleled precision during their gaming sessions, promises Samsung. In fact, with its maximum brightness of 2,000 nits, and its faithful contrasts, this new screen undeniably wants to impress you.

Impress you, yes. But not at any price. The G8 is armed with a new display technology, dubbed “Matte Display”, giving you anti-glare and anti-reflective protection. And for an ever more personalized experience, the monitor is obviously equipped with a height-adjustable stand and has a swivel and tilt system.

Finally, note that the Odyssey range will also be accompanied by two other references, namely the Neo G7 (G75NB) and G4 (G40B) models. The three new monitors from the Korean manufacturer will arrive worldwide this June (launch schedules vary by region). No price has yet been communicated for the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8.
