Samsung mistakenly unveils new Galaxy Buds FE, affordable wireless headphones

Samsung unfortunately revealed in advance one of the products that will be launched in the coming days: the Galaxy Buds FE. These are “affordable” wireless headphones, which, as their name suggests, belong to the Fan Edition series.

While the Galaxy S23 FE is not expected for a few more days, Samsung has just mistakenly published official images of the products that will be unveiled at the same time as the affordable smartphone. The Korean giant is preparing to launch a tablet, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, but also Galaxy Buds FE, new wireless headphones.

Indeed, Samsung put a page dedicated to the Galaxy Buds FE online in Argentina, before deleting it a few hours later. It was obviously too late, since we now know almost everything about them. In the program, two colors: black and white, but also a rather interesting technical sheet.

What technical sheet for the Galaxy Buds FE?

According to the page posted by Samsung, the Galaxy Buds FE will have a single audio driver, three microphones as well as an active noise cancellation (ANC) system. Concerning autonomy, we can expect up to 30 hours maximum with ANC disabled, and 21 hours with ANC enabled.

There are three levels of ambient sound to be aware of your surroundings without removing the headphones. Galaxy Buds FE also feature beamforming technology that automatically adapts to the user’s usage habits to optimally capture their voice. There is also a DNN solution which intelligently filters background noise to better capture the user’s voice.

Finally, note that the Galaxy Buds FE are equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 technology, but it’s unclear which codecs they support. In terms of price, one should expect a price of around 100 euros. They will be available from October, probably at the same time as the new Galaxy S23 FE and the new Galaxy Tab S9 FE. Images of the Galaxy S23 FE show the date October 4 on the screen, and so it could be the launch date of the new products.
