Samsung’s 89-inch Micro LED TV is finally on the way. Because LTPS TFTs are used, among other things, the start of sales, which was actually announced for 2022, was delayed.
The production of the 89-inch version has now started, as the industry portal “The Elec” reports.
Production of Samsung’s new micro LED TVs is expected to start in May
In 2023, the first micro LED TVs in the new Samsung series could be available – in the same size. If you are interested in such a high-end TV with a screen diagonal of 226 cm, you will have to start saving slowly but surely. Although there is still no recommended retail price for the new 89-inch Micro LED, Samsung did mention a price category of around 80,000 euros as a guide at the beginning of 2022.
