Samsung says it has suspended deliveries to Russia


SEOUL, March 5 (Reuters) – Samsung Electronics said on Saturday it had suspended deliveries to Russia due to “current geopolitical developments”, saying in a statement that the group was closely monitoring the “complex situation” to determine its next steps.

The South Korean giant has announced that it will donate $6 million, including $1 million worth of consumer electronics equipment, to support humanitarian efforts “around the region”, including Directorate of Refugees. (Report Joyce Lee; French version Jean Terzian)
