Samsung The Frame: Why a “C” makes a big difference when buying a TV

SAMSUNG THE FRAME

Samsung’s The Frame has also been available in 32 inches for some time. Now this version gets a major update. You should therefore pay attention to the “C” in the name when buying.

With The Frame, Samsung has had an unusual television on offer for several years. The device is a smart TV and painting in one. When you’re not watching TV, The Frame uses “Art Mode” to display artwork you’ve selected and act as a picture frame.

Most recently, Samsung gave the TV 2022 an update. A new generation is not yet in the starting blocks in 2023, but the South Korean manufacturer will release a new variant of the 32-inch version.

32-inch model gets motion sensor

The model called “L03SC” receives numerous features that were previously only reserved for the larger frame variants. These include the manufacturer’s gaming hub and a motion sensor. The TV uses this to recognize whether you are in the room and, if necessary, activates the art mode. This allows The Frame to work more efficiently since the screen only shows an image when someone is in the room.

The 2022 models, by the way, will be resold unchanged, the company explained during a press tour through the “World of Samsung”. It is likely that older 32-inch models from The Frame will also be sold in stores in the next few months. You can recognize these by the identifier “L03SB” and should better avoid them if the features mentioned above are important to you.
