If the Bluetooth function on your Samsung TV is disrupted, the connection with headphones, speakers or gaming controllers cannot be established. You can do that about it.
Connect your headphones to your Samsung Smart TV via Bluetooth. But that doesn’t always work right away. Netzwelt explains step-by-step how best to proceed if the Bluetooth function of your Samsung TV lets you down in the following troubleshooting guide:
1) Reboot the TV (Power Reset)
As with many other digital devices, a hardware reboot is the first universal solution. Malfunctions have often already disappeared when the device was restarted. Only if this unspecific solution to the problem does not work do you have to deal with the problem more closely.
So if you’re having problems with the Bluetooth connection, restart your Samsung TV first before struggling with more complicated and potentially time-consuming solutions. To restart your television, either press and hold the power button for 5 seconds or briefly disconnect the device from the power supply using the mains plug.
2) Check Bluetooth settings
If restarting your Samsung TV has no effect on the missing Bluetooth functionality, you should take a look at the relevant settings.
In the menu you will find different options under “Home” > “Source” > “Connection plan”. If you want to pair headphones or speakers, select “Audio device” here and click on “Bluetooth” in the subsequent menu. Now you can establish a new connection to your device via “Set up now”.
If your TV was released before 2022, it can only pair with one Bluetooth receiver each. So if another device is connected here, you have found the reason for the missing connection to the desired hardware and can switch accordingly.
