Samsung users are happy: New software update for more and more smartphones

Samsung is currently providing a large number of Android smartphones with the latest software update. What started a few weeks ago with isolated models is now getting a big boost. In addition, everything will soon be much faster.

Many Samsung smartphones receive February update

What started with the Galaxy A50s and Galaxy S20 in early February is now being significantly expanded by Samsung. Many well-known smartphones from the South Korean manufacturer are currently being equipped with the new February update and thus brought up to date. These are included, for example Galaxy A52, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Z Flip and many more (Source: SamMobile). It doesn’t matter whether the smartphone is newer or older. Samsung has started the big rollout for many smartphones after the software update was initially tested on a few models.

Samsung is bringing many smartphones up to date, but also some of its tablets. With the February update some security gaps are closed and improvements implemented. If you use your smartphone for online banking and similar things that are particularly important, you should always be up to date in order not to take any risks. Samsung is one of the very few companies that distributes software updates so quickly. Sometimes not even Google can keep up with its pixel smartphones.

Samsung smartphones will soon be updated even faster

Currently, Samsung is still developing its own software version for each smartphone and each individual country. So it often happens that an update is rolled out in Spain while we are still waiting for it in Germany with the same smartphone. There should be an end to that. The security updates are rebuilt. Then there is only one software for entire regions and no longer individual countries. If the Galaxy S22 then received an update for March, for example, it would be intended for the whole of Europe and would be rolled out everywhere at the same time. At least those are the plans that Samsung has and which we also welcome.
