After being invited on certain smartphones of the Galaxy F and M ranges at the beginning of the year and in the spring, the Voice Focus functionality from Samsung now extends to several devices of the Galaxy A line.
Samsung is taking advantage of the gradual deployment of One UI 5.0 on its mid-range Galaxy A smartphones to add Voice Focus. This feature, rolled out to Galaxy M lineage devices earlier this year (including Galaxy F23 5G, M33 5G, M53 5G), helps improve sound quality during calls. In short, this novelty makes your smartphone a better phone.
In detail, Voice Focus improves voice quality during calls, in one way or the other. The sound is then clearer for both parties. Samsung’s technology filters out background noise, while detecting frequencies specific to voices to better boost them. This feature also has the advantage of being fully compatible with third-party call applications, such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp or Zoom.
What about deployment…
However, we learn from the specialized site SamMobile that if the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73 5G are indeed about to receive Voice Focus, only these three devices are currently eligible for the Galaxy A range. are otherwise only on the Indian market. At this stage, Samsung has not yet indicated whether Voice Focus will subsequently arrive in other markets with One UI 5.0, but it would be surprising if the brand deprived its other users of such a relevant daily feature.
Voice Focus should anyway make its way later on other mid-range smartphones from Samsung, such as the Galaxy A23 5G, for example.
As a reminder, the update to Android 13 / One UI 5.0 should finally arrive on the Galaxy A in December 2022. If Voice Focus is not expected everywhere immediately, there is no doubt that the deployment of Android 13 will be a nice consolation prize while waiting for a (probable) more extensive provision.
