Shared by Evan Blass, a visibly official rendering of Samsung’s new Galaxy A14 no longer leaves so many doubts about the design of the Korean manufacturer’s next affordable smartphone.

The veil is lifted, in part, on the new Galaxy A14 thanks to a visual unearthed by Evan Blass. Known for digging up often authentic official images of yet-to-be-announced products, the leaker shared on the site. GadgetGang the front, back and profile of Samsung’s next entry-level smartphone.

A design in (very) slight evolution

We discover in the images of Evan Blass a simple, but sober device, whose lines are strongly reminiscent of those of the current A13 5G model. The mobile should nevertheless benefit from a slightly refined chassis compared to that of its predecessor, despite a slightly more square silhouette, note 9to5Google.

The Galaxy A14 should also, like the Galaxy A13, be available in several colors. If we stick to the colors offered this year by Samsung, the black displayed on the visual shared by Evan Blass should at least be complemented by white and sky blue.

What about the spec sheet?

Tipped at the start of 2023 below the 230 euro mark, the Galaxy 14 will position itself in a strategic segment for Samsung. It will also have the heavy responsibility of succeeding the Galaxy A12 and A13 which have quickly become, over the past two years, the best-selling Samsung smartphones in the world.

To honorably take over, the device would go on a 6.8-inch Full HD + LCD panel (against 6.6 currently) which could once again reach the 90 Hz mark. There would also be an Exynos processor that Samsung has not yet announced, stresses 9to5Google, logically coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Everything would be powered again this year by a 5,000 mAh battery (rechargeable via USB-C) and powered by Android 13.

On the photo side, we could count on a 50 Mpx main sensor, supplemented by a wide-angle module and a depth sensor. On the front, a 13 Mpx selfie sensor (against 8 currently) would finally be adopted, this time tells us GalaxyClub.
