Samsung’s next headphones would be much easier to use according to this photo

Already certified in South Korea, Samsung’s next Galaxy Buds appeared in photos on the website of the authority in charge of communications.

This year, some hoped that Samsung would present new Galaxy Buds 3 headphones – or Galaxy Buds 3 Pro – at the conference organized at the end of July by the Korean manufacturer. In the end it didn’t happen.

However, this does not mean that Samsung has left the wireless headphones market aside, on the contrary. As reported by the site SamMobilespecializing in the news of the Korean firm, new Samsung headphones have recently been certified by the RAA, the Korean authority in charge of communications.

This certification indicates that “SM-R400N» were indeed certified on August 22 and that they are wireless headphones. As a reminder, the Galaxy Buds 2 use the model number SM-R177N, while the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are known by the small name SM-R510N.

Headphones with a physical button

Above all, the certification is accompanied by a photo of one of the headphones with a design quite different from that of previous models. The earphone thus seems to be offered with a removable silicone fin, allowing them to be securely fixed in the ear. We can also discover a small hole and an outer grid, probably allowing the integration of microphones for calls or active noise reduction.

But the main novelty seems to come from the outer surface. Samsung would indeed have opted, for this future generation, for real physical buttons instead of the touch surface offered so far. Enough to give the appearance of Jabra headphones to its next Galaxy Buds 3 – or Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Button controls have a significant advantage over touch surfaces in that they provide a safe way to interact with controls without false positives. They are also more practical when wearing a hood, since you need a firm support to pause the music or change tracks.

For the time being, we still do not know the name, the price or the planned launch date for these new Samsung headphones. The model is now certified, we can still expect an official announcement in the coming months, by the end of the year.
