Samu Haber: "The Voice" coach is allowed to leave the corona quarantine

"The Voice" coach Samu Haber has no Covid-19. He is allowed to end his corona quarantine in Germany and start the journey home.

"The Voice of Germany" coach Samu Haber (44, "Fairytale Gone Bad") is allowed to end his corona quarantine. As he announced on Instagram and on his official website, his Covid 19 test result is negative. "That means that I can go home," writes the Finn. Of course, he will "do another test at Helsinki Airport and follow all the instructions given to me by the Finnish health authorities".

On Saturday (October 24), the Sunrise Avenue front man made public that he had tested positive for the corona virus. He was canceled for further "The Voice of Germany" shoots, he sat out of quarantine in Berlin. Friends and colleagues, as he now writes, would have taken care of him. "They brought me a piano on the second day. Candles and red wine on the third day." The musician was by no means unproductive in the past few days: "I wrote and recorded three new songs because I had nothing to do."

He hasn't lost his sense of humor

Speaking of music, Haber also addressed his "The Voice" colleagues in his Instagram post. He thinks that teammate Rea Garvey (47) no longer needs to bring him "the guitar equipment that was promised". "And Mark (Forster, editor's note), I'll delete the funny and dirty picture you sent me in case they hack my phone one day. But thanks anyway."

When and where the musician got infected with the virus, he still doesn't know. Although he had "no real symptoms at all," he urged caution. "Winning the first round doesn't mean the fight is over. A boxing match usually lasts 12 rounds, and I hope that this round is less long. (…) We're not done yet. But the day will come."
