Samuel L. Jackson picked up the first dose of his corona vaccination. The Hollywood star wore an Avengers mask.

Hollywood star Samuel L. Jackson (72, "Avengers: Endgame") was vaccinated against Corona. The actor shared this on Instagram with his almost seven million followers. The 72-year-old posted two pictures that show him in the car at a vaccination center, where he got "the first dose".

The second snapshot shows Jackson wearing an Avengers-themed mask. The actor, who has played the role of S.H.I.E.L.D. boss Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2008, combined round glasses and a white baseball cap as well as a gray hoodie to create colorful mouth and nose protection in comic style. Why he took on the role in the Marvel films, among other things, he once explained in a "Collider" interview: "I make a lot of guns or action films because I loved them when I grew up." He sometimes only chooses roles "because they're films I would have watched as a kid or when I was young".
