An unusual request since he lived only two kilometers from the college in which he taught. Samuel Paty was afraid, he was “wrapped up, hid his face, spoke very little during the journeys”, confides one of his colleagues. On October 16, 2020, the day of his assassination, Samuel Paty once again asked to be accompanied home at the end of the day, but his colleague’s schedule did not allow him to do so. He will be assassinated at 4:45 p.m., the hood screwed on his head, headphones in his ears.
