Samurai Maiden: The hack’n’slash action game from SHADE Inc. and D3 Publisher reveals its opening


Expected on PC and consoles in just under two months, Samurai Maiden seems closer than ever to its launch. As proof, the hack’n’slash type action game developed by SHADE Inc. (Bullet Girls Phantasia, Kandagawa Jet Girls) and published by D3 Publisher unveiled its opening early this morningin other words its introductory cinematic.

As is almost always the case in Asian productions, this one is accompanied by a musical theme. Titled “Divine Tuning”, the song is performed by Yuki Yomichi (Super Cub, Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun), the actress who lends her voice to the main character of the title, written by Ayaka Ota, singer and idol within the Japanese group SKE48, and composed by Hisao Sasaki.

Released December 8 on PC, PS4, PS5, and Switch

For those who are not yet aware, the title will invite us to follow the story of Tsumugi Tamaori, a young girl dressed as a student of our time. Trapped in strange circumstances in June 1582 under the Sengoku era alongside three other girls, Iyo, Hagane and Komimi, she will have to use her sword to survive the attacks of an army of skeletons invading the Honnō-ji temple. .
