San Diego Pooth will make his acting debut on Thursday. This is what happened to the son of Verona and Franjo Pooth while shooting "The Teacher".
Next Thursday (March 4th, 8:15 pm on RTL) the time has come: San Diego Pooth (17), the son of Verona (52) and Franjo Pooth (51), celebrates being in the series "Der Lehrer" Acting debut. In advance, he spoke to the broadcaster about his experiences on set: "It actually feels like a school day. I have to be there on time and have homework: my text."
He was of course excited at the beginning, but in Corona times the commitment was "a really nice change". "Otherwise you just can't really get out of the house," continues Pooth. In general he enjoyed shooting, even though at the beginning he thought that acting was not for him at all. He is not at all a person who likes to be loud. That's why he doesn't believe that he will one day become a full-time actor.
In the episode "Song! Lied! Cantata! I don't know what to call that at your age", Pooth can be seen at the side of Lilly Krug (19), who also has pretty well-known parents. Krug is the daughter of Veronica Ferres (55) and her ex-husband Martin Krug (63) and has, however, more acting experience than her play partner. The 19-year-old has already shot a psychological thriller with Oscar winner Casey Affleck (45). Above all, Pooth is in the spotlight together with his famous mother and was seen, among other things, in the VOX cooking show "Grill den Henssler". The mother-son podcast "The Poothcast – around head and neck" also has one thing in common.
