First project of the young French studio Sand Door Studio, Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior came to present itself a little more in detail on the occasion of the Summer Game Fest. The 2021 graduation project from the ISART Digital school, the tactical hack’n’slash has already been awarded the Grand Jury Prize 2020 at ISART Digital and the best student video game at the Pégases 2021. And by partnering at Quantic Dream, the team has grown what was initially just a student project.
Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior takes us to the kingdom of Antala where after half a millennium of peace, a new danger arrives. As Imë, a mighty warrior with temporal powers passed down from the Goddess of Time herself, you must save the world from the ancient evil that now threatens peace.
Imë’s power allows her to go back in time in combat, and thus summon clones from her past to help her. By learning to master her power correctly, Imë will be able to become a legion in order to face the hordes of demons released from the ancient cities. But all of this will only be a warm-up for a much bigger threat.
