Sandra Bullock has a different skin color than her two children. This becomes a problem for her from time to time, she explains.

Sandra Bullock (57) talked about the challenges in life with two adopted children. Because Louis (* 2010) and Laila (* 2012) have a different skin color than their famous mother. Apparently it is not immediately obvious to many that they are a family. In an excerpt from the “Red Table Talk” of Jada Pinkett Smith (50), daughter Willow (21) and mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris (68) explains Bullock: “Do I wish our skin color was the same? Sometimes yes.” Then it would be “easier as people approach us”.

She goes on to say that in the end she has “the same feelings” for her children “as a woman with brown skin as that of her babies or a white woman with white babies”. Willow Smith agrees: It’s about the dynamic between mother and child, “there is no skin color”. “Perhaps one day we will see it with different eyes,” hopes Sandra Bullock.

With her ex-husband, presenter Jesse James (52), Sandra Bullock adopted her son Louis in 2010. Only a few months later, the two divorced after five years of marriage. The actress has had a relationship with photographer Bryan Randall since 2015. In the same year she adopted daughter Laila.
