Sandra Bullock will soon be shooting the romantic comedy "The Lost City of D". Channing Tatum is most likely by her side.
Sandra Bullock (56, "Even is the bride") will soon be in front of the camera for the new romantic comedy "The Lost City of D" from Paramount Pictures. As "Deadline" now reports, there is a high probability that she will be joined by a famous co-star: "Magic Mike" heartthrob Channing Tatum (40).
The US actor is currently in the final negotiations with the film studio, writes the industry portal. Rom-Com is staged by the brothers Adam and Aaron Nee ("The Last Romantic"), Sandra Bullock produces for her company Fortis Films together with Liza Chasin from 3dot Productions. The script was written by Dana Fox.
Comedy à la "On the hunt for the green diamond"
"The Lost City of D" is said to be a comedy in the style of "On the Hunt for the Green Diamond" (1984) with Michael Douglas (76, "Basic Instinct") and Kathleen Turner (66, "Der Rosenkrieg" ) act in the lead roles.
In the new film, Sandra Bullock plays a romance novelist who unexpectedly ends up in the jungle with her male cover model (Channing Tatum) as a result of a failed kidnapping attempt. In the wilderness it suddenly turns out that real life can be even more romantic than fictional stories. A start date is not yet known.
