(CercleFinance.com) – Sanofi announces the creation of its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Council – the first of its kind in the pharmaceutical industry to welcome outside advisors into its ranks.
Sanofi’s DE&I Council will include among its members three of the most influential figures on diversity, equity and inclusion issues, appointed for a three-year term: John Amaechi, organizational psychologist and best-selling author, Caroline Casey, social entrepreneur award-winning action and Rohini Anand, Ph.D., DE&I pioneer and renowned thought leader.
Sanofi’s DE&I strategy is based on three main areas with specific objectives for 2025: building representative leadership, creating a work environment where everyone can realize their full potential and engaging with the various communities of the company.
In parallel with the creation of the DE&I Council, Sanofi is setting up a global system of employee resource groups (ERGs) with 5 dedicated global ERGs: Gender+, Generations+, Pride+, Ability+ and Culture and Origins+.
