Santiano: Upcoming "MTV Unplugged" indoor tour postponed again

The German band Santiano has to postpone their "MTV Unplugged" tour again. The new dates fall in autumn 2021.

Because of the Corona crisis, the German band Santiano had to postpone their "MTV Unplugged" tour a long time ago. The new dates should take place in autumn 2020, but that is now also not possible. Instead, the upcoming dates have now been moved to autumn 2021. This was confirmed on Monday by both the band and the organizer Semmel Concerts.

That is the situation

The "current situation" makes it "impossible for everyone involved to carry out the 'MTV Unplugged' tour of the band Santiano, which has already been postponed to autumn 2020," according to a recent message from Semmel Concerts. Santiano explains on Instagram: "We hope and trust that a vaccine against this virus will be found by spring 2021 – but in this exceptional situation, safety is of primary importance for us and for you. For this reason, the one from spring must now be opened the dates postponed to autumn 2020 will be postponed again. "

"The announced 'Plan B' will also come into force for three open-air dates in September". The performances in Ralswiek are now planned for May 28th and 29th and for June 23rd 2021 in Gelsenkirchen, the replacement dates for the "MTV Unplugged" tour will start in September 2021. It starts on September 7th in Riesa, the last show is scheduled for October 7th in Rostock. Fans can see the new dates on Instagram, among other things. Both the organizer and the band insure that tickets already purchased should remain valid.
