Model Sara Leutenegger is a new mom. Her son Lio Antonio saw the light of day at the end of October.
Model Sara Leutenegger (26) and her husband, the Swiss ex- "Bachelor" Lorenzo Leutenegger (36), became parents for the first time. The two shared this with a short video clip on Instagram in which the boy's hand can be seen. "The love of our life" was the title of the "Germany's next top model" participant from 2018.
The couple had already revealed in June that they were expecting a boy. Lio Antonio is the name of the little one, he was born on October 29th via an unplanned caesarean section, as the new mother told the Swiss "Blick". "The birth went a little differently than planned. I wanted to give birth, of course, but because my blood values were not optimal, we decided with the doctor that we would rather have a caesarean section." Her son weighs an impressive 3,940 grams per 51 centimeters.
No visit to the hospital
Her husband Lorenzo was present at the birth. However, the 26-year-old was not allowed to receive the first well-wishers in the hospital due to the applicable Corona regulations. This was not bad for the small family, "because I had time for myself to recover and to receive the small, hearty creature," said the model. At the moment, the new mother is "simply overwhelmed and happy to be able to hold the little boy in my arms – and that he is healthy at home".
