Hospital instead of appearance on ZDF-Fernsehgarten

Singer Sarah Engels had to cancel her appearance on ZDF’s Fernsehgarten at short notice. The reason for this is worrying.
Singer Sarah Engels (31) actually wanted to appear on the new edition of the ZDF Fernsehgarten on Sunday (September 22) and present her new single “Mit Dir”. But she had to abandon this plan at short notice, as Engels had to announce with a heavy heart in an Instagram story. The reason for the cancellation is, however, completely understandable: she had to go to the hospital with her daughter Solea (2) for reasons that have not yet been made public.
“My dears, unfortunately I will not be at the Fernsehgarten tomorrow because I am in the hospital with my little mouse. Thank you for your understanding. I love you,” she told her approximately 1.8 million viewers on Saturday evening. Followers on Instagram know. She hasn’t posted an update since then.
In May 2021, she married her current husband Julian (31). Together with the footballer, she welcomed their daughter into the world in December 2021. The singer also has her son Alessio (9), who comes from a previous marriage with Pietro Lombardi (32).
The last time Sarah herself caused a moment of shock
The last time Sarah Engels caused health concerns in the Engels family was earlier this year. She tore a cruciate ligament while skiing at the beginning of the year and had to undergo surgery. “Immediately after the accident, the pain was quite bearable for me – it was more of an extreme feeling of instability,” she revealed in an online question and answer session. In fact, her cruciate ligament was torn “completely in half,” which meant that surgery was unavoidable. “Now I’m in more severe pain, which will hopefully pass quickly.”
Despite her serious injury, she was able to return to the stage shortly afterwards, including as a guest on the “Giovanni Zarrella Show”.
