Sarah Engels (31) and her family’s skiing holiday in Zillertal, Austria, came to an unfortunate end. The singer had an accident on the slopes in the Tyrolean mountains and tore her cruciate ligament. Now the mother of two needs surgery, as she writes in her latest Instagram story.
Sarah Engels: “I feel so powerless”
The musician writes about a photo from the hospital bed in which husband Julian Engels (30) is holding her hand: “I’ll be honest – I’m extremely afraid of the operation. I’ve never had general anesthesia and I just feel so powerless right now. “
Even if it’s routine for the doctors, it’s difficult for her to give up control as “someone who always wants to stay strong” and “never stops.” She is grateful to her husband Julian. “Without you I wouldn’t know what to do now. I love you and need you so much,” she wrote to the footballer.
