Can she celebrate Christmas with the royals again?

Is Prince Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson celebrating Christmas with the royals? It would be the first time since the couple split in 1992.
Sarah Ferguson (63) has reportedly received an invitation to the royal Christmas party for the first time since her split from Prince Andrew (62). This is reported by the British tabloid “The Sun”. The 63-year-old is therefore allowed to come to the Sandringham estate to celebrate with the royal family. And possibly even in public: the newspaper speculates that she could show up with her disgraced ex-husband during the traditional Christmas walk to St. Mary Magdalene Church.
Prince Andrew and “Fergie” separated in 1992, since then Christmas in Sandringham has been taboo for them – although the ex-couple is said to have always gotten along well. The Queen, who died in September, allegedly had no problems with her ex-daughter-in-law: the Queen even bequeathed her beloved dogs to Andrew and his ex. It was “a great honor” to be able to give Muick and Sandy a new home, said the Duchess of York recently in an interview with the British newspaper “The Telegraph”.
House is being prepared for the York family
Sandringham is said to be getting ready to welcome Prince Andrew, who is no longer allowed to work for the Royals after the Epstein scandal, Fergie and their daughters Princess Beatrice (34) and Princess Eugenie (32) and their families. A local source told The Sun: “Andrew is banned from public life but they can’t keep him from his family Christmas. Sandringham staff have been tasked with preparing Wood Farm for the whole York family.” Wood Farm is a house on the Sandringham estate.
The alleged insider also explained that Sarah Ferguson was excluded from the royal Christmas after the split, as long as Prince Philip (1921-2021) and the Queen were still alive. “For 30 years she sat alone at Christmas dinner. But things are done differently now.”
Christmas should be “less formal”.
The royal BBC correspondent Jennie Bond recently noticed that Christmas is going a little differently with the royals the “OK! Magazine” reported. The holidays with King Charles (74) will therefore be “less formal” and “less buttoned up” than before. For example, in recent years, royals have been expected to follow a strict protocol—bows and curtsies included—during the holidays. Apparently Charles wants to create a more relaxed atmosphere in 2022.
He is also said to have decided that not everyone has to watch his speech. Traditionally, on December 25, the family sat down to watch the Queen’s televised address. His family is said to be spending the day commemorating the Queen instead. “I’m sure he’ll tape the speech a few days beforehand to reflect on her loss,” Bond said.
In addition to Fergie, Duchess Meghan (41) and Prince Harry (38), who have emigrated to the United States, are said to have been invited to the family reunion. They probably won’t be returning to Harry’s home for the holidays though.
