Sarah Ferguson herself has long been at war with the British press and the royal family. So it is hardly surprising that she is now taking the side of the royal dropouts and advocating for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan.

Since the Megxit in March of last year, Prince Harry, 36, and Duchess Meghan, 39, have regularly been taking their breath away from the Royal Family. Whether with shocking revelatory interviews or the latest announcement of Harry’s memoir – the two really don’t want the British royal family to calm down despite their emigration to the USA and their exit as senior royals and keep making negative headlines.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan raised serious allegations

The couple, who have now settled in Montecito, California, hit the palace hardest with their accusations during the much-discussed conversation with talk master Oprah Winfrey, 67. As a reminder: Meghan spoke about her mental problems and suicidal thoughts, among other things accused the royal family of racism. Before the birth of her first child, son Archie, 2, there were discussions in the palace about his possible skin color, accused the 39-year-old.

Sarah Ferguson: “I wish Harry and Meghan so much luck”

Sarah Ferguson, 61, is someone who is very familiar with negative press and scandals, as well as being ostracized by the Royal Family. The ex-wife of Prince Andrew, 61, is now taking sides with Harry and Meghan. “No judgment should be given based on race, belief, skin color or any other denomination,” the Duchess of York clarifies in an interview with “Good Morning America”. She only has benevolent words for her nephew and his wife. “I wish Harry and Meghan so much luck. I know that Diana would be so proud of her sons and their wives,” said the 61-year-old when asked what she thought of the press’s dealings with Meghan.

She herself was a target for the British yellow press for a long time, and found a fellow sufferer in Princess Diana, † 36, her long-time friend. She and Diana had a “hard” time with the media at the time, she explains. “It was an extraordinary thing to realize that we were selling newspapers instead of being real. It was tough for Diana and me.”
