Singer Sarah Harding probably only has a few months to live – the "Girls Aloud" star has now officially confirmed that.

Sarah Harding seems very relaxed when she talks about her illness – as if she had already taken stock of her life and made a clear decision about what should be important in the coming months. The uncompromisingness with which she writes about her incurable cancer is admirably courageous and open – and in this directness, a hard blow for many fans who were still hoping for improvement.

"I try to enjoy every second of my life – however long that will be"

In her book "Hear me Out", Harding describes how tough her diagnosis actually was: "In December my doctor told me that this Christmas would be my last". Now Harding wants to make the most of the time she has left and therefore does not want to start chemotherapy. "I just want to enjoy my life now," said Harding. "I'm at a point where I don't know how many months I have left. But who knows – maybe I'll surprise everyone after all."
