Sarah Michelle Gellar would have congratulated her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. almost a day too late on their 19th wedding anniversary!
Sarah Michelle Gellar (44) almost mixed up her own wedding day. After almost 20 years of marriage to her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. (45), the actress celebrated her 19th wedding anniversary on Wednesday with an Instagram post just in time.
The 44-year-old published a black and white photo on the platform from 2002, which shows Gellar and Prinze Jr. standing in front of each other, holding hands and beaming on their wedding day.
The media reminded them of the day
But 19 years is also a long time. You can get confused there, it seems. Gellar writes quite funny about the photo that she would like to take the opportunity “today, on our 19th wedding anniversary”, to say thank you to the show “Good Morning America”, among other things. The American media had made her friends aware that it was actually her anniversary. The actress thought it wasn’t until Thursday.
Gellar closes the funny post with a serious declaration of love: “All the best on the wedding day, Freddie Prinze Jr. – today, tomorrow and every other day that I will consider our wedding day in the future.” Her husband obviously has no problem with that, as his funny comment shows: “I’ll stick with tomorrow. I don’t care what you said.”
